Dear Friends, This week's quote is from spiritual awareness class CC 74, which was published in Volume 4 of The Living Light Dialogue. "Let us accept the great truth that the act reveals the thought. It is not by our thoughts, my friends, alone that we live; for if that were true, man would never eat, nor would he drink. And so it is by our acts and by our actions and our activities do we, in truth, reveal to others and to ourselves where we really are. You see, we never need to ask anyone where we are and we never need to tell anyone where we are, because we, as human beings, are the constant revelation, the constant revelation of where we are, who we are, and what we are. Let us–be it in divine order—not only think more deeply, but let us entertain in thought, "Have I, or am I, making the true, sincere effort to accept into my consciousness, to consider and accept in my consciousness, an intelligent, divine Authority that knows what is best for my life?" If we, in truth, are making that effort, then we are, in truth, growing in the Light. If we are not making that effort, it simply means that we are not yet ready to let go and let the Divine move into our life and bring us the peace, the joy, the fulfillment that our souls are crying, like voices in the wilderness, for. How many days? How many years? And how many thousands and thousands of years must we, as human souls, strive to return home in consciousness to the Light that is within us, that will free us, and that will fulfill us? There is no obstruction, my good students, outside of us. The only obstruction is the unwillingness to let go of the vehicle known as ego, that we have so badly abused. Let us use it for its true purpose and accomplish some good, first in our own lives. Because if we can't accomplish some good in our own lives, we're certainly not qualified to become the instruments for good to be accomplished in someone else's life Let us make a greater effort to rise to higher levels of consciousness, to accept the divine truth that we are inseparably a part of one; that the variety is the illusion known as creation; that we may be ready, willing, and able to change in the spontaneity of the moment for the greater good of the whole." I would just like to take a moment to again thank everyone who joined our annual drawing. To hear from so many people throughout the world who are interested in these beautiful teachings is very encouraging. Without great struggles in life, we might never awaken to the greatness that is within us all. Those who are new to Serenity, you will find recent quotes on Serenity's Facebook Fanpage and that is also where you can join students of the Living Light from around the world to ask questions and share your understanding.
